Questa lista riporta
numerose pubblicazioni riguardanti il genere Chionomys, dai lavori
monografici a quelli più marginali, comprendendo anche contributi dove Chionomys
compare davvero di sfuggita, credendo che pure queste fonti possano offrire un
tassello ad una conoscenza più organica del genere.
Si tratta di un genere
sicuramente poco noto ma sul quale esiste comunque una discreta quantità di
lavori che, più o meno direttamente, lo riguardano e dei quali è importante
prendere visione se si vogliono intraprendere ricerche. Inoltre, in virtù
della peculiare distribuzione geografica, è un importante modello per studi
evolutivi e biogeografici oltre l’interesse conservazionistico.
Credo quindi, senza
pretese, che la lista potrebbe interessare non solo chi volesse occuparsi di
questo gruppo in particolare, ma anche più in generale di arvicole,
micromammiferi e comunità di mammiferi in montagna, per la scelta operata di
considerare anche i lavori che trattano Chionomys più
superficialmente.
Malgrado ciò che viene
riportato è una mera elencazione bibliografica, i titoli dei lavori sono
quasi sempre esplicativi delle tematiche in essi trattate.
Questi in sostanza sono i
motivi che mi hanno spinto a realizzare la lista e volerla rendere pubblica.
Sicuramente numerose
saranno le manchevolezze e le imprecisioni, ringrazio pertanto chiunque vorrà
darmi suggerimenti e segnalare lavori non riportati.
Abstract
This
list shows several publications about the genus Chionomys,
from the monographic papers to those more marginal, also contributions where Chionomys
appears very superficially, believing that these sources can also offer a
wedge for a more organic knowledge of the genus.
It is
surely a poorly known genus but of which a discreet quantity of publications
exists that in different aspects, concern him and of which is important to
take vision if they are wanted to undertake searches. Besides, by considering
the peculiar geographical distribution, it is an important model for
evolutionary and biogeographical studies over the conservation interest.
Therefore
I believe, without pretensions, that the list could interest not only the
people interested particularly with this group, but also in general voles,
small mammals and mammals communities in mountain habitats, for the choice
operated to consider also the papers that treat more superficially Chionomys.
Despite
what is showed is a mere bibliographical list, the titles of the publications
are almost always explanatory of the reported thematics.
These
are in substance the motives that have pushed me to realize the list and to
want to make it public.
They
will be surely numerous deficiencies and inaccuracies, therefore I thank
whoever will want to give me suggestions and to signal publications not
brought.
